This Monkey loves Tubby Time

This monkey towel has been so appropriate for our little boys!
We wrapped it around Grant when he was smaller and it now belongs to Benjamin, our little monkey in the bath tub with his giggling and wild splashes.

I love baby feet! These little wrinkled baby feet just got out of the bath and have a special claim on my heart because they belong to my Benjamin.

Our monkey not only has a cute toothy grin, gorgeous eyes and perfect fingers and toes.
He also has soft skin and smells delicious.

The miracle of it all is that Benjamin took this bath after throwing up all over his crib during nap time. He was sick yesterday with all of our other kids and with his daddy who started really feeling under the weather toward bedtime. (Is it just me or do we get sick a lot?) After getting cleaned up, splashing and playing with Grant in the tub for a little while, he was ready to get out and have a photo shoot with Mommy. I can't get enough of this little monkey and his beautiful blues!

First things first- I am sorry you are dealing with sickness again! I can't wait for this crazy weather to settle down so that the kids will stop getting sick. Peyton's been fighting an ear infection for almost 2 months now to little avail because he keeps getting colds that fill his poor ears with fluid! I hope you will all be on the mend again soon.

Second, I love bath time at our house too- and it's so cute when they love it too. We have a puppy dog towel and an alligator towel that we wrap Pey up in sometimes and he looks so adorable and hilarious all in one breath. Benjamin is getting so tall-I wonder where he got that from? :-)
His eyes are amazing- I must agree with you and baby toes can always make your heart melt!

That is one cute kid! I can see you in him. Tell him his cousin Tuscanee loves bath time too and is excited to play with him this summer!

SO CUTE! Your kids are adorable. I love keeping up with you through the blogging world! Great posts. You are such a good writer. Now I am back in the game and will be checking back often. Love you! Give your monkeys a big hug from us.

shannon! i stumbled upon your sweet blog through my sister-in-law Jeni Mangum's blog somehow. You must be in the same ward in Metairie. I have to say, it was inspiring to read about your adventures with 5 small children. I often feel I'm drowning with my 3! I am due with our fourth in two weeks! I know it has not been the smoothest road for your darling family and yet somehow you ooze optimism. Beautiful.

That is the worst feeling when you open the door after a child has been asleep and you get hit in the face with the smell of throw up, but it all cleans up and then they look so cute and smell sooo much better, you almost forget all the work you had to do to get them like that!
